Job Title:
Equipment & Tool Designer Location:
Renton, Washington (On-Site)
Job Summary:
We are supporting a company seeking an experienced Equipment & Tool Designer to help develop and sustain tooling solutions that support complex production needs. This position contributes to design development, documentation, and ongoing technical support for equipment and tooling used in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
Investigate and develop complex equipment and tooling concepts and specifications to support product design and build requirements. Participate in design reviews, collect requirements, and create or revise drawings and models. Prepare off-load packages, specifications, purchase requests, usage instructions, inspection instructions, preventative maintenance plans, and user training materials. Provide technical support for engineering changes and discrepancies, including problem investigation, data analysis, and solution development.
Required:
3 or more years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Associate's degree and 3 or more years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Familiarity with 3D modeling tools. Experience with drawing, reading, and interpreting Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). 1 or more years of project management experience. Must be able to work onsite in Renton, WA.
