Job Description

Job Description A leader in concrete production equipment is seeking a driven Mechanical Designer to join our dynamic engineering team. We're looking for someone eager to learn the industry, master design processes, and contribute to an innovative product line. If you thrive in a fast-paced, technical environment and are ready to build a career in a growing company, we want to hear from you! What You'll Do Support the engineering team by creating and maintaining detailed mechanical drawings, models, and bills of materials (BOMs). Collaborate with the team on new product development and engineering changes, from concept to final design. Learn and utilize industry-specific software to streamline design processes and drive results. Work with the Chief Engineer and Design Engineer to review sketches, drawings, and related data to create new or modify existing designs. Prepare accurate and professional engineering drawings and 3D models using CAD software. Process and maintain design documentation, including BOMs, engineering change orders (ECOs), and product specifications. Support the development and improvement of cutting-edge equipment. Build strong relationships with clients and colleagues through top-notch technical support. Software We Use Experience is a plus but not required - we'll train the right candidate to master these tools: SolidWorks (CAD software) Syteline (ERP) Microsoft Office Google Workspace What We're Looking For Strong computer skills and the ability to quickly learn new design software. A solid understanding of mechanical concepts, including materials, tolerances, and manufacturing processes. Strong understanding of medium to heavy-duty metal fabrication . Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Design, Drafting, or a related technical field. Excellent communication skills, with confidence handling phone and email interactions. A proactive, problem-solving mindset and a desire to grow your engineering skills. Certified
SOLIDWORKS
Professional (CWSP) preferred. Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) experience is a plus.
