Job Description
Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Kitchen Designer with strong sales experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating customized kitchen designs while guiding clients through the sales process from initial consultation to project completion. This role is ideal for a design professional who enjoys working directly with customers and has a proven ability to close sales . Key Responsibilities Meet with homeowners, builders, contractors, and remodeling clients to understand project requirements, budgets, and design preferences. Create functional and aesthetically appealing kitchen designs using design software. Present design concepts, cabinetry options, finishes, and space-planning solutions to clients. Generate estimates, proposals, and project quotations. Manage the sales cycle from initial consultation through closing. Follow up with prospects and showroom visitors to convert leads into sales. Build and maintain strong customer relationships to generate repeat and referral business. Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and installers to ensure successful project execution. Stay informed on current kitchen design trends, cabinetry products, and industry developments. Consistently achieve or exceed sales goals. Required Qualifications 5+ years of kitchen design experience. Proven sales experience, preferably in cabinetry, kitchen & bath, remodeling, interior design, or home improvement industries. Experience using kitchen design software such as 20/20 Design, or similar tools. Strong understanding of cabinetry layouts, kitchen space planning, and design principles. Excellent communication, presentation, and customer service skills. Ability to read floor plans and construction drawings. Strong organizational and follow-up skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a cabinetry showroom environment. Background in custom cabinetry, kitchen remodeling, or interior design.
