Interior Design Assistant Alisberg Parker Architects and Interior Design Old Greenwich, CT Job Details Full-time 6 hours ago Benefits Health savings account Health insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Qualifications Vendor relationship building Interior Design Bachelor's degree Residential design (architectural design tasks) Organizational skills Lighting design Full Job Description Alisberg Parker Architects and Interior Design - Old Greenwich, CT Alisberg Parker Architecture and Interior Design seeks a creative and organized Interior Design Assistant with excellent design sense to join their team. This is a full time, in-office position with some flexibility. Junior/ Intermediate candidates will be considered.
Primary Responsibilities :
  • Work closely with the Director of Interior Design and Principal Designer to anticipate needs and provide added value to projects and tasks
  • Obtain quotes from vendors and track client orders
  • Schedule and oversee deliveries
  • Help with installations and styling
  • Assist in preparation of mood boards and client presentations
  • Manage relationships with vendors, workrooms and receiving warehouses
  • Scale furniture and lighting in plans and experience with rendered elevations
  • Maintain organization of fabric library
  • Gather and return product samples
  • Other responsibilities as are typical for an Interior Design Assistant
  • Measure existing conditions
Key Skills Required:
  • 4 Year College Degree
  • Experience in high-end residential design a plus
  • Proficient with AutoCAD, Archicad skills a plus
  • Knowledge of Houzz Pro a plus Please submit Resume along with Portfolio.
