Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Interior Design Assistant to join our creative team! This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate on innovative interior design projects, from conceptual sketches to final execution. As an Interior Design Assistant, you will support senior designers by preparing visual presentations, managing project documentation, and assisting with client communications. Your enthusiasm for design, strong technical skills, and proactive attitude will help bring inspiring spaces to life. This role is perfect for someone passionate about interior design and eager to grow their expertise in a fast-paced, creative environment. Responsibilities Assist in creating detailed floor plans, elevations, and 3D models using AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp or similar software. Support the development of design concepts through sketches, mood boards, and color palettes Prepare presentation materials that effectively communicate design ideas to clients and team members Collaborate on project management tasks including scheduling and tracking project milestones Coordinate with vendors and contractors regarding lighting, renovation details, and remodeling specifications Assist in drafting contracts and reviewing construction documents to ensure accuracy and compliance Contribute to lighting design and lighting sales efforts by understanding client needs and product options Experience Previous experience or internship in interior design or related fields is preferred but not required Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhinoceros 3D, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Creative Suite is preferred Knowledge of CAD drafting techniques, color theory, and interior design principles is essential Familiarity with project management tools and processes related to renovation, construction, remodeling projects Strong understanding of construction documentation Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with clients Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to transforming spaces into inspiring environments!
