Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a creative and motivated Design Consultant/Interior Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding clients through the design process, from initial consultation to project completion. You will leverage your expertise in interior design and remodeling to help clients realize their vision for their spaces. Strong account management and organizational skills are essential as you will be managing multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring client satisfaction. Must have 1 to 3 years of retail sales experience. Responsibilities Conduct initial consultations with clients to understand their design needs and preferences. Develop and present design concepts, including layouts, color schemes, and material selections. Provide product demonstrations and educate clients on various design options. Manage client accounts, ensuring timely communication and follow-up throughout the project lifecycle. Collaborate with contractors and vendors to ensure project specifications are met. Maintain organized records of client interactions, project progress, and materials used. Stay updated on industry trends and new products to provide informed recommendations. Assist clients in remodeling or renovating spaces to enhance functionality and aesthetics. Requirements Proven experience in interior design or a related field is preferred. Strong account management skills with the ability to build lasting client relationships. Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects effectively. Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems is a plus. Sales experience is beneficial for promoting design services and products. Ability to conduct engaging product demos for clients. Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse clients. Knowledge of remodeling processes and techniques is advantageous. A passion for maintaining high standards of quality in design work.
