Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Interior Designer with 4-6 years of professional experience to join our team. This role is heavily focused on production and technical documentation while maintaining a strong design sensibility. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of translating design concepts into accurate construction documents. Strong communication skills and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit are essential for success in this role Responsibilities Produce comprehensive construction documents, drawing sets, and technical detailing for interior design projects. Develop and maintain accurate plans, elevations, sections, schedules, and specifications. Collaborate closely with project managers, designers, architects, consultants, and vendors throughout all project phases. Support design development by translating conceptual designs into detailed technical documentation. Ensure drawing packages meet company standards, project requirements, and applicable codes. Coordinate project documentation and revisions across multiple disciplines. Assist with material selections, finish schedules, furniture plans, and project specifications. Participate in client meetings and internal project reviews as needed. Conduct quality control reviews to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of documentation. Support construction administration activities, including responding to RFIs, reviewing submittals, and addressing field conditions. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field. 4-6 years of professional interior design experience, preferably in commercial, hospitality, workplace, healthcare, or mixed-use projects. Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit. Strong understanding of construction documentation standards and detailing. Solid knowledge of building systems, materials, finishes, and industry best practices. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Adobe Creative Suite and rendering software is a plus.
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
