Job description Widmer Interiors, a MillerKnoll Office Furniture Dealer, serves business, healthcare, education, and government clients throughout Central and Northern Illinois. With locations in Peoria, Bloomington, and Rockford, our team of more than 35 professionals creates innovative, functional, and inspiring workplace environments for our clients. Position Summary Widmer Interiors is seeking a full-time Interior Designer to join our Bloomington team. In this role, you'll collaborate with designers, sales professionals, and clients to develop creative, functional furniture solutions that bring each client's vision to life. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented, technically skilled designer who enjoys space planning, problem-solving, and working as part of a collaborative team. Key Responsibilities Develop furniture layouts and space plans using CET (3D design software) Draft building shells and floor plans in AutoCAD Create product specifications and client proposals Collaborate with the sales and design team throughout the project lifecycle Communicate design concepts and present solutions to clients Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines with a high level of accuracy Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Interior Design required Strong communication and presentation skills Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment Experience with office furniture space planning and specification is preferred Experience with CET and AutoCAD is preferred (but not required) What We Offer Competitive salary Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, disability, and life insurance 401(k) retirement plan Paid vacation, sick time, and holidays A collaborative, supportive work environment with opportunities for professional growth
