Experience with Remodelling, Design experience, estimating knowledge, drivers license, and computer knowledge. has helped Central Illinois families turn their houses into homes through honest, high-quality remodelling and restoration work. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Designer/Estimator to join our team and help clients bring their remodelling projects to life — from first concept through signed contract. This is a hybrid design and sales consultant role: part creative partner, part technical estimator, and full-time relationship owner for our clients throughout the pre-construction process. What You'll Do Guide clients through in-home consultations to understand their needs, style, and budget Design functional, beautiful kitchen, bath, interior and exterior spaces that reflect each client's vision and our company's quality standards Develop accurate project estimates using company-approved tools and pricing Prepare clear, detailed scopes of work that our production team can execute without ambiguity Present design concepts and proposals clearly and professionally, and secure signed contracts Qualify prospects for budget, timeline, and overall project fit — setting honest expectations from day one Coordinate closely with our Production Manager and office staff to ensure smooth handoffs from design to build Document project details in Buildertrend and related systems What We're Looking For Design experience in kitchens and bathrooms (design background, drafting/CAD, or relevant remodeling experience) Solid estimating knowledge in construction — comfort with pricing, scopes, and project math A team player who communicates clearly and works well with production, office staff, and clients alike Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to explain technical and design concepts in simple terms Comfort using CRM, estimating, and project management software Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
