Interior Design Assistant Overview:

We are seeking a part time detail-oriented and organized Interior Design Assistant to support our design team with both creative and administrative tasks. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes to bring design projects to life while ensuring financial accuracy and smooth project execution. Key Responsibilities Assist in the creation of client design proposals Manage and track client expenses using spreadsheets, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date reporting Support the calculation and preparation of client retainers based on project scope and budget Reconcile and balance credit card statements against client purchases to ensure proper allocation and billing Coordinate and place orders for client selections, including fabric, lighting, wallpaper, furniture, etc. Track order statuses, deliveries, and any issues related to purchasing Maintain organized records of all client transactions, orders, and project details Qualifications Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Proficiency in spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets) Knowledge of Studio Designer or Houzz Pro a plus Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously Interest in interior design, materials, and furnishings Strong communication and problem-solving skills Previous experience in interior design, purchasing, or administrative support preferred Preferred Traits Financially detail-oriented and comfortable working with numbers Proactive and able to anticipate team needs Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment

Pay:

$35.00 - $50.00 per hour
