Job Summary:
Join our dynamic team as a Custom Window Treatment Specialist! In this energetic role, you will be the face of our company, engaging directly with clients in-store and in their homes to showcase tailored window treatment solutions that elevate their living spaces. Your passion for design, exceptional sales skills, and ability to build lasting customer relationships will drive your success. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine creativity with sales expertise. The position requires specializing in window treatments (blinds, curtains, shades, etc.), advising customers on style, function, and value. Develop new prospects and interact with existing customers to increase sales of window treatments.Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should have strong sales and customer service skills with experience in custom window treatments, fabrics, and soft window treatments, including blinds, shades, shutters, draperies, valances, cornices, and other custom fabric treatments. They should be comfortable conducting in-home measurements, helping customers select fabrics and coordinating patterns, colors, and styles, providing design and product recommendations, preparing quotes, closing sales, and managing orders from consultation through installation. Key qualifications include knowledge of fabric and custom soft treatment applications as well as window treatment brands such as Hunter Douglas, Graber, Norman, and Horizon. The candidate should have strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, basic measurement and math skills, and the ability to manage multiple customers and custom orders. They should be professional, dependable, comfortable using POS/CRM systems, and able to work independently and as part of a team.Compensation:
Full time position - Hourly Rate + Commission; Paid gas mileage for out-of-store appointments.Pay:
