SketchUp Full Job Description Core Responsibilities:
Design Concept Development — Overall design direction, including style, color palette, materials, finishes, and furnishings. Space Planning — Identify client needs, functional requirements, aesthetic goals, and budget; develop furniture layouts and space plans. Client Presentations — Prepare material boards, finish samples, renderings, presentations, and other visual materials for client review and approval. Finish & Material Selections — Selection of flooring, wall finishes, paint colors, tile, countertops, cabinetry finishes, hardware, and other interior materials. Interior Design Documentation — Create interior plans, elevations, reflected ceiling plans, finish schedules, and other drawings necessary to communicate the design intent. Budget & Procurement Coordination — Approval of furnishings budgets, obtain pricing, coordinate purchasing, track orders, and assist with receiving, delivery, and installation when procurement services are included. Installation & Styling — Coordinate furniture placement, artwork, accessories, window treatments, and final styling to complete the designed space.
Minimum Requirements:
2-5 years of experience Experience in residential projects is preferred Proficiency in hand sketching, SketchUp and Microsoft programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
In Person Office Schedule:
Monday to Friday 8am to noon
•1pm to 5pm Remote working is not an option (at this time) Open to part-time or full-time format
Benefits:
