Pierce Flooring and Cabinet Design Center of Billings is a locally owned company with over 100 years of service in Montana, known for its commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. As a Flooring & Design Sales Professional, you will join a supportive and growing team dedicated to helping customers transform their spaces. This full-time role offers a blend of inside and outside sales, working with walk-in clients and proactively building relationships with contractors, realtors, property managers, and local businesses. Responsibilities Welcome and assist customers, identifying their project needs, budgets, and timelines Prepare accurate estimates and detailed proposals for flooring and design projects Provide expert design recommendations on flooring types, colors, patterns, and layouts Educate customers on the benefits, limitations, and maintenance of various flooring materials Actively network and engage with the community to generate new sales opportunities Track project status and keep customers informed throughout the process Attend regular sales meetings and collaborate with the team to achieve sales goals Manage sample check-out procedures and maintain organized records Work some Saturdays as part of the regular schedule Perform other related duties as assigned Qualifications Experience in flooring sales, interior design, or home improvement Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to work independently with accuracy and attention to detail Proficiency in reading blueprints and floor plans Proactive problem-solving abilities Skilled in using a tape measure for precise job site measurements Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure Basic computer skills Compensation This position offers a base salary of $42,000$60,000 per year, depending on experience , with additional commission opportunities. High performers can expect total compensation to exceed $100,000 with experience and training.
