POSITION OBJECTIVE
Our growing interior design firm is looking for a quality, talented, and dedicated Associate Interior Designer to join our team and work alongside a Lead Interior Designer on a variety of projects. Our company is a tight-knit group known for our attention to detail, high standards, and commitment to both design excellence and client satisfaction. We work hard, collaborate closely, and celebrate success together. This role requires the ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, is eager to jump into any project, and is comfortable working beyond 40 hours per week when necessary to meet deadlines and goals.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE WHAT YOU'LL DO
Assist the Lead Designer in all phases of design, from conception development to project completion. Prepare design presentations, assist in material selections, and complete all necessary paperwork. Work closely with clients, vendors, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution. Create floor plans, elevations, and renderings using design software. Manage project documentation, budgets, and timelines. Source furniture, fabrics, and accessories for projects. Support showroom and client meetings, including client presentations and design proposals. Participate in site visits, installations, and styling to bring designs to life.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field. 1-3 years of interior design experience in professional setting. Strong proficiency in Photoshop and AutoCAD, Revit, or Chief Architecture. Knowledge of textiles, furniture, lighting, and materials. Excellent organizational and project management skills. Ability to work in a high-energy, deadline-driven environment and be adaptable. Strong interpersonal and selling skills. Passion for design, attention to detail, and willingness to go above and beyond to meet client expectations.

SPECIAL DEMANDS
Lee Douglas Interiors Design Teams service clients at home and on construction sites, candidates must be able to travel locally and perform in environments of varying temperature and noise conditions. The Design Team positions require presentation of merchandise and finish materials, candidates must be able to be on their feet and lift and carry merchandise and presentation materials. The Design Team positions require documentation and presentation paperwork, candidates must be able to sit and operate at a computer for extended periods of time. Due to our industry and widespread client base, on occasion, overtime or travel may be required. Overnight stays are necessary during market trips. Must report timely to work as scheduled by LDI Management.
