Job Description

Skilled Trades Partners is seeking an experienced Kitchen & Design Consultant for a direct hire opportunity with a well-established building materials and design center in the Exeter, NH area. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys combining kitchen design, sales, and customer service to help homeowners, builders, remodelers, and contractors bring their projects to life.

What You'll Do:

Meet with homeowners, builders, contractors, and remodelers to understand project needs Create functional and attractive kitchen layouts using kitchen design software Assist customers with cabinetry, countertops, hardware, flooring, doors, windows, millwork, and other building products Prepare estimates, proposals, and design presentations Coordinate design revisions and product selections Follow up on quotes and help convert opportunities into sales Work closely with sales, estimating, purchasing, operations, vendors, and manufacturers Ensure projects are accurate and complete before ordering Maintain an organized and welcoming showroom/design center Stay current on design trends, products, and industry innovations

What We're Looking For:

Experience in kitchen design, interior design, cabinetry sales, or showroom sales Experience with kitchen design software such as 20/20 Design, ProKitchen, Chief Architect, or similar Strong customer service and sales skills Ability to read floor plans and construction drawings Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple customer projects at once Building materials, construction, remodeling, or home improvement experience strongly preferred Self-motivated, personable, and comfortable building relationships with both homeowners and contractors
