Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Interior Designer/Project Manager to lead high end, innovative residential interior design projects from concept to completion. This role combines creative vision with strategic project oversight. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for design, exceptional communication skills, and a strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Responsibilities Manage and execute client presentations throughout all phases of design Source and select decorative items, design concept, space planning, architectural elements, color and fabric schemes, custom window treatments, and custom furniture Source and select construction items, stone/tile, plumbing fixtures, lighting, hardware, etc. Communicate and collaborate with clients, vendors, general contractors, and subcontractors Prepare hardware, plumbing, paint, lighting, and other required schedules Manage drafting for manufacturing and installation of furniture, window treatments, lighting, and accessories Manage and prepare decorative/project budgets Manage client proposals, purchasing of decorative items, and deliveries, including shipping from sourcing through final installation Handle day-to-day project upkeep: budgets, binders, invoices, proposals, billing, ordering, and tracking Ensure the quality and accuracy of each project Maintain constant communication with the team to ensure that the design is developed according to the creative vision of the principal and the studio Ideal Candidate 2-4 years of experience as an Interior Designer at a high-end residential firm, with hands-on project management responsibility Able to manage multiple high-end residential projects from concept through installation Hands-on experience with renovation projects including remodeling, construction detail documentation. Working knowledge of construction documents Able to complete projects on budget and on deadline Thrives in a fast-paced environment; works well independently and on a team Highly detail-oriented and organized, with strong time management, problem-solving, and communication skills Excellent client communication skills with a track record of managing multiple projects efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards. Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite Degree in Interior Design from a four-year accredited program Legal US citizen
Pay:
