Alfredo Paredes Studio is a multi-disciplinary creative firm dedicated to the curation of sophisticated environments across the residential, hospitality and retail sectors. Based in New York City, our studio operates as a highly creative and dynamic team. Our detail-oriented approach to design spans the entire lifecycle, from bespoke furniture fabrication and vintage sourcing to material selections, technical architectural documentation and rigorous construction oversight. Our mission is to create unique, immersive environments that resonate with authenticity and refined craftsmanship.
JUNIOR DESIGNER
Experience:
1-3 years of professional working experience
Education:
Degree in Interior Design or related field
RESPONSIBILITIES
Drafting floor plans and elevations for schematic design and presentations. Sourcing and specifying furniture, furnishings, lighting and textiles. Generating and managing FF&E schedules and budgets. Processing and tracking decorative orders and coordinating vendor deliveries. Maintaining the studio's materials and product sample library. Supporting Senior Architects with site visits and construction coordination. Assisting with coordinating and scheduling all trades and vendors for installation.
REQUIREMENTS 1-3
years of professional working experience. Degree in Interior Design or related field. Ability to work at a fast pace on multiple projects within a team environment. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong interest in classical design and refined detailing. Professional proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
