Job Description
A Cut Above is seeking an experienced, motivated, and customer-focused Stone Sales Representative to join our team. This position is ideal for an individual with experience in natural stone, countertops, kitchen and bath design. The Stone Sales Representative will work directly with homeowners, interior designers, architects, builders, contractors, kitchen dealers, and fabricators to help clients select the ideal materials for residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate combines strong sales skills with a passion for design, exceptional customer service, and knowledge of premium surfacing materials. Responsibilities Assist clients in selecting granite, marble, quartzite, quartz, porcelain, and other premium surfacing materials for kitchens, bathrooms, fireplaces, feature walls, outdoor kitchens, and commercial projects. Conduct showroom consultations and slab presentations to help customers visualize their finished projects. Educate customers on material characteristics, durability, maintenance requirements, and design considerations. Develop and maintain relationships with interior designers, architects, builders, contractors, kitchen and bath dealers, and homeowners. Generate and follow up on leads to convert inquiries into sales opportunities. Prepare quotations, proposals, and material selections for clients. Coordinate with templating, fabrication, and installation teams to ensure a seamless customer experience. Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity within the CRM system. Stay informed on design trends, emerging materials, and industry best practices. Support showroom merchandising, sample organization, and overall presentation of the showroom. Participate in networking events, trade associations, home shows, and marketing initiatives to expand business relationships and generate new opportunities. Qualifications Previous sales experience in natural stone, countertops, cabinetry, kitchen and bath. Strong knowledge of granite, marble, quartzite, quartz, porcelain, and related surfacing materials. Ability to discuss fabrication requirements, installation considerations, and material performance with confidence. Proven ability to build relationships and close sales. Excellent communication, presentation, and customer service skills. Strong organizational and project management abilities. Experience working with homeowners, designers, builders, contractors, or real estate professionals is highly desirable. Proficiency with CRM software, Microsoft Office, and digital communication platforms. Kitchen and bath design experience is a plus. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
