Overview We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Interior Designer to join our creative team and bring inspiring spaces to life. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects from concept through construction, while maintaining a keen eye for detail and a passion for design excellence. Duties Conduct new client meetings with sales team, including measure of existing spaces Visiting job sites to analyze space availability, design needs and the purpose of the space Attending client meetings to understand the design needs and client preferences regarding interior styles and colors Creating initial design sketches, color themes and ideas based on client requirements and space availability Arranging client visits and keeping everyone involved in the project appraised of its progress Ensuring project completion within the allocated budget and timeline Collaboratively work with the sales team as well as Project Managers. Develop design concepts within customer budgets Create scaled plans and elevations for installation purposes relating to millwork, plumbing, tile, cabinetry, and more Gather samples and specify finish materials based on a set budget Product quoting and ordering of materials Visit job sites and meet with installers and homeowners throughout the remodeling process Skills Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or 20/20 Expertise in interior design principles including color theory, lighting design (including lighting sales), space planning, and material selection. Experience with 3D modeling for architectural design and rendering techniques to create realistic visualizations. Excellent client communication skills to present ideas clearly and manage expectations effectively. Background in managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and attention to detail. Knowledge of construction processes, contracts, budgeting strategies, and construction detail documentation for residential interior projects. Pay:
$55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
