Position Overview The Design Assistant will work closely with and support the Designer and must have the ability to work in a fast-paced, client-driven environment on multiple projects. Attention to detail and follow-up, excellent communication, computer skills, and problem solving are a must. Key Responsibilities Budget management Client and vendor communication Pricing and data entry for proposals Presentation preparation (PowerPoint) Installations locally and out of state General organization of projects Qualifications and Skills Design Manager experience desirable and/or ability to learn this integrated software program Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field and interest in residential interior design Internship or entry level experience in design or related industry Knowledge of CAD desirable but not required Ability to take initiative Strong work ethic Compensation and Benefits Annual salary based on experience Health Care Contribution 401K Contribution Life Insurance and Long-Term Disability Paid Holidays Paid Time Off (PTO) Work from Home (2 days per week) Cell Phone Allowance Company Sponsored Team Outings and Activities
