Interior Design Assistant Small Interior Design Studio in Palos Verdes is looking for an organized, design-minded, positive person to join our growing residential interior design studio. This is not a typical desk job. Every day looks different. One morning you may be creating CAD drawings, the afternoon organizing a project install, sourcing materials, meeting vendors, or heading to a job site. Responsibilities Create and edit AutoCAD drawings and floor plans Assist with design presentations, specifications, and client deliverables Create presentations using Keynote with a solid working knowledge of all MAC iWork programs Source furnishings, materials, plumbing, lighting, and finishes Organize project binders, samples, materials library, and office inventory Assist with client meetings and job site visits Coordinate with vendors, workrooms, contractors, and receiving warehouses Help prepare for furniture installations and styling days Handle project organization, filing, ordering, and general studio support Jump between multiple projects while maintaining exceptional attention to detail Non-Negotiable Requirements ✓ Proficient in AutoCAD ✓ Proficient using Mac computers and Apple's Keynote, Numbers & Pages (not Microsoft Office) with own Mac computer ✓ Must live in the South Bay ✓ Reliable vehicle and comfortable traveling to job sites throughout Los Angeles (mostly South Bay/Palos Verdes) ✓ Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail ✓ Positive attitude with strong communication skills ✓ Ability to pivot quickly between creative and administrative tasks ✓ Passion for residential interior design and beautiful homes Bonus Qualifications SketchUp experience Interest in social media / creating instagram posts Interior Design degree or related experience Experience with luxury residential projects Material and furniture sourcing experience Construction drawing knowledge Styling experience We Think You'll Love This Role If...
