We create functional, visually compelling interiors designed to maximize guest experience and property performance on platforms such as Airbnb and VRBO. Our team is known for delivering innovative design concepts tailored to each client's budget, brand, and investment goals. With extensive experience in the short-term rental industry, we help clients transform properties into standout destinations that drive bookings and profitability. Role Description We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented Junior Interior Designer to join our growing team in Scottsdale, AZ on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone passionate about hospitality and short-term rental design who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The Junior Interior Designer will assist with the design and execution of interior spaces for short-term rental, renovation, and hospitality projects. Responsibilities include space planning, design development, FF&E selection, construction documentation, and coordination with vendors and contractors throughout the project lifecycle. Assist in the design and execution of hospitality and short-term rental projects Develop design concepts, mood boards, and presentation materials Support space planning and furniture layouts Source and specify FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) Prepare and revise construction drawings and design documentation Assist with installations, styling, and on-site project execution Maintain organized project files, schedules, and selections Stay current on interior design trends, hospitality concepts, and STR market insights Qualifications Bachelors in Interior Design or Related Field. Familiarity with Interior Design and FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) selection Proficiency in Space Planning and Architecture fundamentals Experience creating and reading Construction Drawings Keen eye for detail and creativity in developing design concepts Strong communication and collaboration skills Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or related tools Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field 1+ years of experience in the short-term rental industry or hospitality projects. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects Willingness and ability to travel to job sites as needed Why Join Solstizio?
