In this role, you will be the key driver of customer engagement, providing expert guidance on window treatment solutions that enhance interior spaces. Your passion for design, combined with your sales expertise, will help clients transform their homes and commercial environments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to blend creativity with strategic selling, ensuring each customer receives personalized service and high-quality product recommendations. As a vital part of our team, you'll thrive in a fast-paced environment that values initiative, technical proficiency, and exceptional customer relationship building. Your success depends on your drive with great earning potential. Duties Engage with customers through outside sales efforts to understand their needs and present tailored window treatment solutions. Conduct product demonstrations, explaining features, benefits, and installation options for various window treatments including blinds, shades, shutters, and custom draperies. Develop strong customer relationships through effective communication, upselling premium products, and providing ongoing support during remodeling or renovation projects. Collaborate with clients on layout design, lighting considerations, and fixture choices to ensure cohesive interior aesthetics. Manage sales transactions efficiently using POS systems and handle cashing out with accuracy while maintaining excellent organizational skills. Follow up with clients post-sale to ensure satisfaction, assist with maintenance questions and ask for referrals. Requirements Proven experience in outside sales or retail sales within the home improvement or interior design industry. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and CRM systems for client management and project planning. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively while maintaining excellent customer service standards. Knowledge of renovation processes, construction experience, or familiarity with remodeling projects is highly desirable. Multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse clientele; fluency in English is required. Exceptional communication skills combined with organizational abilities to manage multiple projects simultaneously and build lasting client relationships. This position offers flexible work hours including some evening and weekend hours. Sales designer must have their own cell phone, laptop and vehicle for client appointments. Training and sales support provided.
