In this role, you will transform client visions into reality by blending creativity with technical expertise. You'll collaborate closely with clients, contractors, and vendors to deliver exceptional interior environments that reflect style, comfort, and purpose. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, inspiring setting while making a tangible impact on diverse projects ranging from home additions, ADUs, luxury kitchens and bathrooms to new constructions. Responsibilities Develop comprehensive interior design concepts using Chief Architect to visualize and communicate ideas effectively. Prepare detailed drawings, plans, and specifications for interior spaces, including lighting design and color schemes, ensuring alignment with client needs and project requirements. Conduct site visits during renovation and construction phases to oversee progress, resolve issues promptly, and ensure adherence to design specifications. Source materials, furnishings, lighting fixtures, and finishes that meet aesthetic goals and budget constraints. Draft contracts and scope of work documents; negotiate terms with suppliers and contractors to secure the best value for clients. Stay updated on industry trends in remodeling, interior design, CAD drafting techniques, and new product innovations to continuously elevate project quality. Experience Proven experience in interior design or related fields with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse projects such as remodeling or renovation. Proficiency in Chief Architect or similar CAD software. Solid understanding of drafting standards, color theory principles, CAD workflows, and construction documentation processes. Knowledge of budgeting strategies and client communication skills. Familiarity with plumbing and lighting design principles; experience in remodeling projects is highly desirable. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and delivering high-quality results.
