Job DescriptionAt David Weekley Homes, our Design Consultants help homebuyers bring their dream homes to life. From the first conversation to the final selection, you'll guide customers through every step of the design process blending creativity, expertise, and exceptional service.
We're looking for a Team Member who is passionate about interior design, thrive in a collaborative environment, and loves helping people create beautiful, functional spaces to join us building dreams and designing possibilities.
What You'll DoDeliver an exceptional, personalized design experience for every homebuyerGuide customers in making interior selections that align with their style and budgetCreate and enter design selection packages, including detailed drawings and specificationsCollaborate with Builders and internal teams to ensure all features, options, and upgrades are accuratePartner with vendors to review new products and stay current on design trendsQualificationsDegree in Interior Design or related experience preferredPrior homebuilder design experience strongly desiredAbility to read and interpret blueprintsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and comfort with technologyExcellent communication, listening, and customer service skillsStrong organization, attention to detail, and ability to follow up effectivelyConfidence in setting clear expectations and resolving potential conflictsCreative problem-solver with a team-oriented attitude and high integrityAbility to manage time efficiently and work with a sense of urgency when needed
