Job Overview We are seeking a passionate, fun, and innovative Interior Designer to transform spaces into inspiring, functional environments that reflect clients' visions and needs. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead creative design projects from concept through execution, ensuring every detail aligns with aesthetic goals, budget parameters, and construction requirements. The ideal candidate will thrive in a small boutique setting, combining artistic flair with technical expertise to deliver exceptional interior spaces that elevate everyday experiences. Duties Collaborate closely with clients to understand their preferences, needs, and project scope, translating ideas into compelling design concepts. Manage projects from concept to completion. Develop detailed interior design plans using industry-standard software such as SketchUp, Sketchup Layout, and Adobe Creative Suite. Prepare comprehensive drawings, elevations, renderings, and specifications for millwork, lighting, color schemes, furniture layouts, and material selections. Manage project timelines and budgets effectively while coordinating with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure seamless execution. Conduct site visits to oversee renovation and new build projects, ensuring designs are implemented accurately during construction phases. Selection of FF&E, including creation of visual boards to showcase the overall vision. Familiarity with types of fabrics, tile/stone, and construction materials. Maintain clear communication throughout the project lifecycle, providing updates and resolving issues promptly to meet client expectations. Skills Strong proficiency in SketchUp, Sketchup Layout, and Photoshop for drafting and visualization. Thorough understanding of interior design principles including color theory, lighting design, space planning, and remodeling techniques. Experience in project management—scheduling tasks, budgeting resources, and coordinating teams effectively. Knowledge of construction processes and renovation procedures Ability to create detailed Sketchup drawings and drafting documents that communicate design intent clearly. Excellent communication skills for client presentations and vendor negotiations; confident in presentation. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design or similar Proficient in Sketchup, Sketchup Layout, and Adobe Photoshop 1-3 years residential interior design experience Loves to have fun!
