Junior Design Associate Burlington Design Gallery | Irving, Texas Launch Your Career in Luxury Design & Architectural Surfaces Burlington Design Gallery is seeking a highly motivated, professional, and personable Junior Design Associate to join our growing team in Irving, Texas. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, has a strong eye for presentation and organization, and aspires to build a career in the luxury design, architecture, stone, and tile industry. As the first point of contact for our clients, designers, architects, builders, and guests, you will play a critical role in creating a welcoming and professional showroom experience while supporting our senior sales and design team. Key Responsibilities Reception & Client Experience Welcome and greet clients, designers, architects, builders, and guests in a warm and professional manner Manage showroom reception area and maintain a polished, organized appearance Answer incoming phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately Coordinate appointments and assist with scheduling Ensure visitors receive an exceptional first impression of Burlington Design Gallery Sales & Design Support Assist Senior Design Sales Associates with client appointments and material selections Prepare samples, presentation materials, and project information for client meetings Follow up on customer requests and maintain accurate records Assist with showroom merchandising, displays, and product organization Support project coordination and administrative tasks as needed Client Coverage & Growth Conduct introductory showroom tours and basic product presentations Assist walk-in customers when senior sales associates are unavailable Participate in training programs to develop product and industry knowledge Gradually take ownership of smaller projects and client interactions Qualifications Required Professional appearance and demeanor Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Positive attitude with a customer-first mindset Ability to think critically and exercise sound judgment Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic computer applications Preferred Experience in luxury retail, showroom sales, hospitality, interior design, customer service, or related fields Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Business, Marketing, or a related discipline Experience working with designers, builders, or homeowners What We're Looking For We are seeking an individual who possesses: Professional maturity and common sense Strong initiative and problem-solving skills The ability to anticipate client needs Confidence interacting with high-end clientele A desire to learn and grow into a future sales and design professional Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary Performance-based bonus opportunities Professional development and mentorship Opportunity for advancement into a Design Sales Associate role Work alongside some of the region's leading designers, architects, builders, and luxury homeowners About Burlington Design Gallery Burlington Design Gallery is one of Texas' premier destinations for luxury natural stone, tile, and architectural surfaces.
