The best Interior Design & furniture store in Southern Utah, Passport Wholesale Furnishings, needs another talented Design Consultant to provide the highest quality service and excellence in customer service and design assitance inside the store. This is the position to enter into a dream industry, helping great customers and joining the best team while getting paid higher than anywhere else. Previous Interior Design experience is preferred but we can train and mentor, if a new team member will invest extra effort in learning. Must be available to work weekends, & holidays. Once products are learned and trust is earned the team member can become a full Interior Designer, which pays over $100,000, depending on the ambitions, and work ethic of the designer. This progression and mastery takes time, usually years, as knowledge and experience is gained. Skills in Social, Sales, Orgainzation, & Project Management are a must and can't be overcome by creativity alone. Design is 90% customer service and 10% creativity as you listen and adapt to the clients tastes and goals. Once someone earns the ability to be a designer, there is a lot of flexibility on when to do the work, but the work is still required to complete the jobs. This is not the right industry for everyone, but amazing for those who have the ambition and skills to become excellent in the industry.
