In this energetic role, you'll be the creative force behind transforming interiors, blending aesthetic appeal with functional excellence. Your expertise will drive projects from concept through execution, ensuring each space reflects the client's vision while adhering to budget and timeline requirements. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your design talent, technical skills, and project management prowess in a collaborative environment that values creativity and precision. Responsibilities Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and project objectives, translating these insights into compelling design concepts. Develop detailed interior layouts and visualizations using software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino (Rhinoceros 3D), and 3ds Max to create accurate representations of design ideas. Prepare comprehensive construction documents, including drafting plans, elevations, sections, and specifications utilizing Bluebeam and CAD tools. Select appropriate materials, finishes, lighting fixtures, and color schemes by applying principles of color theory and lighting design to enhance aesthetic appeal and functionality. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively while coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure seamless execution of renovation or remodeling projects. Oversee the procurement process for furnishings, fixtures, and lighting sales; ensure specifications align with design intent and client expectations. Conduct site visits during construction phases to monitor progress, ensure adherence to design specifications, and resolve any issues promptly. Draft contracts and scope of work documents; collaborate on bidding processes and negotiate with vendors to optimize project outcomes. Experience Proven experience as an Interior Designer or in a related role with a strong portfolio demonstrating diverse projects including renovation and remodeling initiatives. Proficiency in industry-standard software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino 3D, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop), Bluebeam, and 3ds Max is essential. Solid understanding of drafting techniques, CAD standards, lighting sales strategies, and construction processes. Knowledge of interior design principles including space planning, color theory, materials selection, lighting design, and contract management. Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards within budget constraints. Familiarity with project management practices—scheduling, budgeting, vendor coordination—and client communication skills are highly valued.
