Job Overview We are seeking a creative, thoughtful, and highly driven Junior Interior Designer to join a collaborative and design-forward studio. This is an opportunity to contribute to meaningful commercial, hospitality, and residential projects. In this role, you will provide creative and technical design support to lead designers, and assist in procurement for multiple projects. This is a full-time role with an in-office collaborative working style. Responsibilities Design Support Assist in the development of design concepts, mood boards, color palettes, and material selections. Prepare drawings, presentations, and design documentation using AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite, and other design software. Collaborate with the design team, contributing ideas while following workflow processes and best practices. Documentation Maintain accurate project files, samples, and documentation for design and construction purposes. Produce floor plans based on survey information Set up documentation sets Execute revisions based on redlines Support the preparation of presentations, client materials, and design boards Site Surveys Perform site surveys, verify and documenting existing conditions at job sites Participate in FF&E inspection and installation and walkthroughs, assisting the team with problem-solving and quality checks Attend client meetings FF&E Support Assist with product (FFE & finish) selections Product research, sample procurement, & communication with vendors Obtain quotes, availability, and lead times Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and clients as needed to support project delivery

Software Proficiency AutoCAD Sketchup & rendering plug-ins Adobe Creative Suite (Indesign, Photoshop, Acrobat) MS Office Suite Windows Google Workspace Studio Designer preferred
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
2+ years' experience in a professional interior design role Bachelor's degree in interior design Design portfolio Familiarity with FF&E vendors, materials, and specifications Strong understanding of furniture lines and product specifications Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Strong written and verbal communication skills Comfortable supporting presentations in both in-person and virtual settings Knowledgeable in construction drawings, including millwork & electrical drawings Proactive, collaborative, and eager to support designers and the broader team Service-oriented mindset
