Job Description

Summary:
We're proud to partner with a local, well-established commercial interiors and workplace solutions firm in search of a full-time Senior Interior Designer to join their team! This is an exciting opportunity to partner with clients in southern Wisconsin and beyond to create functional, engaging work environments through design, space planning, and furniture solutions.
Pay:
$24 or more per hour based on experience, and will earn time and a half for overtime hours during bid periods.
Location:
Onsite in Madison with travel to client sites (1-2 times per week on average) and training opportunities (1-2 times per year on average). All client-related travel is reimbursed.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with clients to understand workplace goals, needs, and project requirements Lead the design, presentation, and furniture specifications for projects of varying size and complexity Create space plans, furniture layouts, renderings, and installation drawings using
CET/SPEC
Present design concepts and recommendations to clients with confidence and professionalism Work closely with sales team, project coordinators, manufacturers, and installation teams to ensure successful project execution Stay current on workplace trends, commercial furniture products, and design best practices Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and team-oriented work environment Mentor junior designers and contribute to continued development of design team
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design 4+ years of interior design experience Experience within a commercial office furniture dealership preferred Proficiency in Auto
CAD, CET
Designer, SPEC, or 2020 CAP/Worksheet Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills Knowledge of commercial office furniture systems, space planning, and workplace design Valid driver's license and ability to travel between offices and customer sites #MMAS
