Key Qualifications and Experience:

Valid State Interpreter License required Experience as a Sign Language Interpreter in educational or school-based environments Ability to interpret in real-time for classroom instruction and school activities Preference for bilingual candidates (ASL and another language) Commitment to a consistent, all-day, on-site schedule throughout the school year Strong communication skills, reliability, and adaptability in school settings

Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 sign language interpretation for a middle school student in classroom and other educational environments Ensure clear and effective communication between student, staff, and peers Collaborate with teachers and school personnel to support the student's academic engagement Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards for interpreters Participate in meetings or training as necessary to best serve the student's needs This position offers you the chance to work in a dynamic school community, build meaningful connections, and make a lasting impact in a student's life.
