Job Description

Category Schools - Sign Language Interpreter - Telehealth Job Type Contract A contract role is available for a Sign Language Interpreter skilled in telehealth services to support a 14-year-old student. This position requires 30 hours per week and will begin as soon as possible, continuing through May 21st.
Location:
Nauvoo, AL (school setting)
Key Responsibilities:
Provide sign language interpretation services, ensuring clear and accurate communication for the student. Facilitate effective telehealth sessions, assisting with remote learning or therapy as needed. Support the student's communication needs in various school-related activities and settings. Collaborate with educators and healthcare providers to ensure consistent and appropriate interpretation services.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Sign Language Interpreter, including telehealth interpretation. Strong knowledge of interpreting techniques appropriate for educational environments. Ability to work effectively with adolescent students. Reliable availability for 30 hours per week throughout the contract duration. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a student's educational success and communication access through specialized interpreting services.
