Succeed:

A minimum EIPA score of 4.0 Completion of CHSPE or NCLB requirementseither 48 units of higher education study, an AA degree, or a Certificate for the RID Alternatively, TEC unit level 4 ACCI certification accepted Prior experience working with students in an academic setting is strongly preferred Strong commitment to professional ethics, confidentiality, and student advocacy Excellent communication and collaboration skills with educators, students, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one sign language interpreting to students during classroom instruction and activities Facilitate clear and effective communication between students, teachers, and peers Support the educational goals of assigned students in various academic settings Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to all school and agency guidelines Contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment
