Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 6-7 hours per day, 30-35 hours per week different schools start and end at different times so hours could be anywhere from 7:30am - 4:00 pm.

Role:
Inclusive Learning Partners is seeking a dedicated school-experienced ASL Interpreter to join our collaborative and mission-driven team. In this position, you'll support students in public school settings by providing interpretation and teaching to students. Duties include : Interpret manually and orally for deaf students Work with students/teachers/staff to prepare assignments for deaf students Follow direction of classroom teacher May have to attend IEP meeting and share feedback on deaf students' progress, assist and implement IEP goals.
Required Qualifications:
Certification by the national Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID), or equivalent; in lieu of RID certification or equivalent, an educational interpreter must have achieved a score of 4.0 or above on the Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment (EIPA), the Educational Sign Skills Evaluation Interpreter and Receptive (ESSE-I/R), or the National Association of the Deaf/American Consortium of Certified Interpreters (NAD/ACCI) assessment. Driver's License and reliable transportation to drive between school sites. Mileage reimbursed. Strong understanding of IEPs, IDEA compliance, and data-driven behavior support Must be willing to undergo a criminal background clearance and Livescan fingerprinting through the California Department of Justice and FBI. TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable Willingness to complete all necessary ILP and state mandated trainings during onboarding
