Category Schools - Interpreter Job Type Contract A full-time Educational Interpreter assignment is available for the upcoming school year, serving students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing. If you have a passion for supporting communication access in educational settings and thrive in collaborative environments, this opportunity will allow you to make a meaningful difference every day.
Key Qualifications:
Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and other modes of communication used by Deaf/Hard of Hearing individuals Experience as an Educational Interpreter or in a similar support role within a school setting Knowledge of best practices and current strategies for supporting students with hearing impairments Ability to facilitate clear communication between students, teachers, and peers Flexibility, professionalism, and strong interpersonal skills Valid and current interpreter certification as required by state or educational guidelines
Position Features:
