Freelance Pay:
Competitive hourly rates (2-hour minimum per assignment) About the Opportunity Beta Systems International seeks qualified ASL interpreters for freelance, on-demand assignments at San Joaquin Delta Community College District campuses. Work when you want—accept or decline assignments based on your availability. No minimum hours required.
Assignment Details Locations:
San Joaquin Delta College, 5151 Pacific Avenue, Stockton, CA 95207 South Campus at Mountain House Manteca Center, Lodi, and remote (Zoom/WebEx)
Schedule:
Assignments available 7:00 AM - 12:00 AM, 7 days/week Requests sent 24-72 hours in advance (typically) Respond within 24 hours to accept/decline Average 30-40 hours/week available district-wide Required Qualifications RID Certified or Qualified Post-secondary ASL interpreting experience AA/AS Degree or higher (preferred) Proficiency in ASL, PSE, Signed English, and Oral interpreting Reliable internet for remote assignments Professional attire and conduct What You'll Do Provide in-person or remote ASL interpreting services Arrive/connect 10 minutes before scheduled assignment Report absences or cancellations within one business day Maintain consistency with assigned students when possible Adhere to RID Code of Professional Conduct Compensation Regular, evening, weekend, and emergency rates available 2-hour minimum billing per assignment All costs included in hourly rate Hpnw8PEkOx
