Qualifications:

Colorado Educational Interpreter Authorization (or ability to obtain) Associate's degree or higher in Educational Interpreting, ASL, or related field EIPA Written Examination passed EIPA Performance Score of 3.5+ or current RID Certification Background screening and all Colorado Department of Education compliance Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills Prior experience in educational interpreting and strong ASL proficiency preferred

Responsibilities:

Provide ASL interpretation throughout the instructional day Interpret classroom instruction, assemblies, meetings, and events Facilitate communication among students, staff, and teachers Maintain confidentiality in line with FERPA and district policies Prepare for assignments by reviewing materials as needed Collaborate with teachers and service providers to support students Uphold professional standards for educational interpreting
