Certified ASL Interpreter (RID Certified) Onsite Contract

Position Overview Global Language System is seeking qualified American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreters to support a federal contract with the U.S. Navy Submarine Force Museum. The interpreter will provide onsite interpretation services to facilitate communication between hearing and hearing-impaired personnel in professional, training, and operational settings. This role requires high professionalism, accuracy, and adherence to RID standards and ethics . Key Responsibilities Provide accurate and impartial ASL interpretation (English ↔ ASL / Signed English)

Support:

Meetings (team, supervisory, administrative) Training sessions and workforce development programs Special events, ceremonies, and briefings Maintain confidentiality of all interpreted information Arrive 15 minutes prior to scheduled assignments Collaborate with project coordinators and client stakeholders Follow RID Code of Professional Conduct Work Schedule Primarily Monday - Friday (7:30 AM - 4:00 PM) Assignments range from: o
