Job Description

Degree in American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreting, certified ASL Interpreter credentials, and 1+ year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Qualifications:
Current and valid SLI (Sign Language Interpreter) certification/credential required Experience providing interpretive services in educational environments preferred Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and knowledge of Deaf culture Ability to navigate classroom dynamics and adapt communication styles Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
Interpret classroom instruction, discussions, and activities between students and staff Deliver clear, accurate, and confidential language support in both individual and group settings Facilitate communication during extracurricular activities, meetings, and school events Adjust signing techniques based on individual student needs and age group Maintain accurate documentation and uphold professional ethical standards This position offers competitive hourly compensation with weekly pay.
