ASL Interpreter - School-Based $44/hour

Haynes Therapy Group has an open position for a Sign Language Interpreter and is seeking a qualified candidate for the 2026-2027 school year with the potential to renew! This is a full time school based position for an incredibly supportive & small school district in Canton, GA. The majority of your time will be spent interpreting directly for the student, and the remainder of the day will involve interpreting for the Deaf/Hard of Hearing teacher with the help of the other interpreter at this school! Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree or Interpreter Program preferred
• EIPA 3.5 or higher preferred
• RID Certification
• Educational Interpreter License (State of Georgia)

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide sign language interpretation services to facilitate communication between deaf or hard-of-hearing individuals and hearing individuals.
• Translate written materials into sign language for accessibility purposes.
• Assist with communication within a school setting
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional standards of conduct.
