Step into a highly rewarding contract opportunity as a Sign Language Interpreter working one-on-one with a 5th grade student in a general education classroom. Starting September 10th, 2026, and lasting through May 26th, 2027, you'll play an essential role in facilitating communication and supporting inclusive education. This position is full-time, 35 hours per week, from 7:30 am to 2:30 pm. You'll be situated on-site each day, working to ensure equal access to learning and engagement for your assigned student. Qualifications & Experience:

Active GaPSC Sign Language Interpreter Educator Certification required District-specific fingerprints completed or willingness to obtain them Prior experience as a sign language interpreter within a school setting is strongly preferred Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and familiarity with educational environments Effective collaboration skills and a commitment to student-centered support
