Job Description

Degree in American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreting, certified ASL Interpreter credentials, and 1+ year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Bring your passion for sign language interpretation to an impactful educational setting! We are seeking a skilled professional for a full-time, onsite assignment supporting a student in a 1:1 capacity for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract role begins August 3rd, 2026, and concludes May 27th, 2027. Your expertise will help foster communication and access for a student who relies on your interpretation skills in the classroom and throughout the school day.
Qualifications & Experience:
Valid GA DOE Sign Language Interpreter License (no HR waver accepted) Competency in educational settings, especially in K-12 environments Experience providing 1:1 sign language support preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Commitment to confidentiality and a professional demeanor
