Key Qualifications:
Hold a valid GA DOE Sign Language Interpreter License (HR waivers will not be considered). Experience providing 1:1 interpreting services within a school setting is preferred. Strong understanding of deaf and hard-of-hearing student needs. Excellent communication, collaboration, and time-management abilities.
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality 1:1 sign language interpreting services to assigned students in an onsite, school-based environment. Collaborate with educators and support staff to promote academic success for students requiring interpreting services. Maintain accurate records of student progress and interpreting activities. Uphold professional standards of confidentiality and integrity.
