Qualifications:
Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) Previous experience as a Sign Language Interpreter, preferably in a school setting Ability to work full time throughout the school year Strong commitment to supporting students' educational and personal development Certification as a Sign Language Interpreter is strongly preferred
Responsibilities:
Provide interpreting services for an 8th grade student throughout the school day Collaborate with teachers, staff, and related service providers to ensure complete access to instruction and activities Foster a supportive, inclusive learning environment Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all applicable ethical standards Assist in preparing educational materials as needed to support student success
