Category Schools - Interpreter Job Type Contract Educational Sign Language Interpreter 📍 Jonesboro, Georgia 📅 Full-Time | 2026-2027 School Year We are seeking qualified Educational Sign Language Interpreters (SLIs) to join a supportive school district in Jonesboro, GA for the upcoming school year. Full-time opportunities are available at both the elementary and secondary levels. Position Details Full-time, school-based position Elementary and secondary openings available Supportive district and collaborative special education teams Competitive weekly pay Comprehensive benefits package available Requirements Minimum EIPA score of 3.5 required Must be eligible for the Georgia PSC Educational Interpreter Certificate Prior school-based interpreting experience preferred, but not required Strong communication and collaboration skills Responsibilities Provide interpreting services for students who are deaf or hard of hearing in classroom and school settings Facilitate communication between students, staff, and peers Support student access to instruction and educational activities Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and school teams Join a district that values its interpreters and provides ongoing support throughout the school year.
