Qualifications:
Valid certification as a Sign Language Interpreter EIPA score of 3.5 or higher (required, lower scores may be discussed individually) Experience supporting students with diverse needs, particularly those using wheelchairs Comfortable providing one-on-one comprehensive services in an onsite, classroom-based setting Team-oriented mindset and strong communication skills
Responsibilities:
Interpret for a high school student in an adaptive classroom environment Deliver comprehensive sign language services tailored to the student's Individualized Education Program (IEP) Foster inclusivity and accessibility in classroom activities Collaborate with special education professionals and classroom staff Maintain strict confidentiality and support student dignity at all times
