ASAP Caseload:
1:1 with 7th grade student. She is completely deaf and has poor vision 5 days a week OR 2 days (tues/weds) Student is in a self-contained classroom Looking for someone with an outgoing personality, will be working alongside other teachers. Soliant is seeking a skilled and dedicated Sign Language Interpreter to join our team. If you are passionate about facilitating communication and making a difference in the lives of students with hearing impairments, we encourage you to apply!
What We're Looking For:
  • Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
  • Must have EIPA of 3.0 higher
  • Experience working as a sign language interpreter in an educational setting preferred
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in an elementary school setting preferred
What You'll Do:
  • Provide sign language interpretation services for students in a school setting
  • Assist in classroom instruction and activities by interpreting spoken language into sign language
  • Support students in understanding and participating in classroom discussions and activities
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure effective communication
  • Help create an inclusive and supportive learning environment for students with hearing impairments Benefits
