What youll need:
Current national certification as a Sign Language Interpreter ASLPI (American Sign Language Proficiency Interview) score of 4.1 or higher Experience working in educational settings, preferably with one-on-one student support Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with educators, students, and families Ability to handle confidential information with sensitivity and professionalism Key responsibilities: Provide accurate and effective sign language interpretation between students and school staff in classroom and campus settings Facilitate communication for academic instruction, group activities, and school events as needed Assist with adapting instructional materials and activities to ensure student engagement and understanding Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and ancillary staff to support students educational and social needs Maintain up-to-date documentation per school and regulatory standards As part of this role, youll enjoy a competitive weekly pay structure along with comprehensive benefits including health and dental insurance and a company-matched 401(k) retirement plan.
