Key Qualifications:
Valid certification/credentials as a Sign Language Interpreter Prior experience in a school setting or working with children preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to collaborate effectively within an educational team
Key Responsibilities:
Provide interpreting services for Deaf and Hard of Hearing students Facilitate communication between students, teachers, staff, and peers Interpret class instruction, school events, and meetings Support students in fully accessing their educational environment Work collaboratively with teachers and special education staff Maintain strict professionalism and confidentiality Follow student IEP accommodations and school policies
